MORMAN MIRACLE PAGEANT/MANTI

Friday afternoon, June 13, Ron and I drove to Manti for the pageant. Ron's sister Clare was up from Las Vegas, Karen & Norm down from Murray, and DeRay and Ed from Kaysville. Karen had her trailer. We visited and relaxed in airconditoned perfect circumstances. We were able to put our blankets on seats at 6:00 reserving good seats. Then we went to one of the churches where they served us the famous turkey dinner. David came by the trailer court and gave us good information since he was on duty with the crowd control. I had to get a picture of him in his official uniform, since it was a 'friendly' visit. At about 9:30 we walked to the hill for the show. We were parked only a block away. The pageant was wonderful. Ron & I had just celebrated our 37 year anniversary on Tuesday. I sat looking at the beautiful temple remembering our wedding those 37 years ago. The temple was just beautiful as the background of the show. I'm glad we were able to go again, it's been many years since we were last viewing it. I feel very blessed to have been able to meet Ron on BYU campus those 38 years ago, even if I was only 16 years old. I love him more today than ever and every year is getting better. What are the chances of meeting in the middle of a sidewalk anyway?
